This post from Suzanne:
About a month ago Wayne met a young man at the shopping centre. He had opportunity to chat with him.His family live about 40 kms out of Nakhon Sawan, and he had just come here to look for work.He has been staying with us, found a job and started work last week.He has attended some Bible classes and English classes, and has been at church each week.Yesterday after church, he and his fiancee Moy asked to talk with Wayne.
Just a quick update on how God is working amongst us here at Nakhon Sawan …
Wayne is teaching Bible Institute on a daily basis. He has recently been teaching on marriage to the boys (most of our “boys” are in their early to mid-twenties). It has been good for them to learn God’s design of relationships and marriage, which is new to all of them and to their culture. The boys all say that it has been a very helpful study time for them.
“The Lord is good to all:and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.”-Psalm 146:8-9
God is good, and we are ever aware of His great mercy and goodness to us.The new building is truly a blessing, and we so enjoy meeting there every Sunday for church! We have lunch altogether every Sunday after church on Level 2 which is the dining area. Of course the facility also allows us to have Bible Institute and conduct music lessons with the boys in the several meeting rooms upstairs.
Thank you to those that advised me that the pictures on our site were all black boxes.I have now amended this and all the pictures should now be visible.
Kind regards,
Suzanne.

This post from Suzanne:
God was really good in enabling us to have our building, that was recently inundated with floodwaters, ready for opening last Sunday (11th).It was a great day and an encouragement not only to our team, but to everyone in attendance.
Praise the Lord the flood waters have cleared and progress on the repairs to the church is going well.Everyone is working very hard! This week is particularly busy, as we need to have everything ready for our opening this coming Sunday (11th).We really appreciate you journeying with us on what seems to have been a long task.
The flooding in Thailand still continues as the water runs into Bangkok … it has beenmore than three months now! However, the water in Nakhon Sawan has receded, and major cleanup is in progress.Unfortunately the damage to the church is somewhat more than we first thought, but the boys are working hard cleaning it out, then will start the repairs, etc.
Job 2:10 - “But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.”
Job did not understand the reasons behind his calamities, but unlike his wife, he chose to worship and remember his blessings rather than blame or accuse God. We know our God is always good. His goodness is not dependent on our understanding. We do not put God on trial regardless of our circumstances. We but affirm His wonderful grace and the blessing of His everlasting love that is sufficient for all the trials and tests that come our way whilst we dwell in this earthly tent.
It has been heartbreaking to see the devastation of the floods. Now more than one-third of Thailand is flooded, and there doesn’t appear to be any signs of the rains easing. They are now majorly concerned that Bangkok will be flooded towards the end of this week, early next week.
Much of Thailand has been ravaged by devastating floods.A total of 1,903,708 people in 140 districts of 23 provinces have been affected. As many as 31 highways in 10 provinces and 73 rural roads in 23 provinces were under water and closed to all kinds of vehicles. To date, the floods have claimed 188 lives.
"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth." Luke 15:10
Yesterday we had seven unsaved people in church, three of whom put up their hand for salvation at the close of the service. One prayed to get saved - praise the Lord!! Her name is O (as in got) and she is the older sister of Boy and Beer. She was very moved, and the 'evidence' of her salvation was clearly seen. Another lady wants to get saved, but doesn't want to do anything she's not 100% commited to. And Wayne and Joe are talking more with the young man today.
